Anna States (Woltz) is an author/illustrator of children's picture books. Her most recent book is a collaboration with author Jennifer Ventress, "Emma Never Ate Soup". Anna's other books include "WonderToast Wonders About: The Alphabet!" and "The Unordinary Elephant". Anna grew up in Oakland, California in a great melting pot of diversity and artistic inspiration. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Cinema-Television with an emphasis in animation. She has worked in children's TV production & series development at Fox Kids, Nickelodeon, and DreamWorks, gaining great artistic mentors and painting late into the night. Anna loves to travel and try new foods, often reflected in her fun and educational work. She lives in Southern California with her two sons drawing, cooking, and generally being silly.
